I decided that I wanted to learn how to make bobbin lace so signed up for classes at the American Swedish Institute. It's a small group with each member working at varying levels of proficiency on individual projects. I have two more sessions in this round of classes. I made a little sampler bookmark to try out several kinds of stitches. The photo is a work in progress. It is meant to be an edging, but I will most likely just use it as a bookmark.
This looks so complicated! How long will it take you to finish it, do you think?
ReplyDeleteI hope to have it finished by the next class on April 22nd. I'm only doing a bookmark length piece so that makes it a little easier.
